It's time to pack your bags and book a trip to Philadelphia because Disney is coming to the Franklin Institute.
The world premiere of Disney 100 will open at The Franklin Institute on February 18, 2023. The Exhibition was created to commemorate the 100 year anniversary of The Walt Disney Company. The exhibition will immerse guests in the beloved stories that have been dazzling guests since 1923.
The exhibit will be comprised of ten large, themed galleries with cutting-edge interactive installations covering 15,000 square feet. The most exciting part? Walt Disney Archives is opening its vault of treasures, showcasing more than 250 of its “Crown Jewels,” rarely seen original artworks, artifacts, costumes,
props, and other memorabilia.
The exhibit will open at The Franklin Institute and then travel to other cities starting with Chicago and followed by Kansas City, MO. The international unit of the exhibit will open on April 18, 2023, in Munich, Germany, with more cities to be announced.
